Local Community

This page is home to all the Boomtown news that is directly relevant for our wonderful local community.  It’s also the place where you can find out how to get involved with the festival all year round and become part of our community.

There are many ways to stay in touch with us and we would love to hear from you with any query, question or suggestions you may have. You can choose any of the routes below or if you prefer to chat directly with us, please get in touch with Katie Derwent our Local Liaison Officer.

Get in touch with Katie

Katie is based in Alresford in the heart of the local community. She is on hand to help with any queries you may have; large or small! Throughout the year, if you would like to chat to Katie, she is always at the end of the email at local_community@boomtownfair.co.uk.

local community Meetings

We usually hold 3 to 4 public meetings in the local community each year to give you the chance to meet some of the organisers, provide us with your feedback, and discuss ways for more of the local community to get involved. Everyone is more than welcome to attend and we will keep you updated with the information regarding the next dates via our newsletter and social channels.

Resident Meetings will all be held at The Flower Pots, Cheriton. The next meeting will be as follows -

18th September 2023 - 18.30-19.30

Local Community Facebook Page:

We also have a Local Community Facebook page, that is dedicated to our local residents where you can join in with all the latest conversations and be part of the online community!
