As DMC aproaches their 40th anniversary, they bring their DJ championships to the festival fields for the very first time. Expect stone cold Hip-Hop, Turnablist legends and this year’s up and coming superstars - the competition and show are taking place on the evening of Friday August 11th on the Pirate Studio Stage, 6pm-4am. Come and join the cream of the new breed from the British turntable world battling it out to win a chance to represent at the Technics DMC World DJ Championships this Autumn.
Follow DMC's past champions, competitors and performers that have included Whitney Houston, Public Enemy, Roxanne Shante, Jazzy Jeff, Norman Cook, Carl Cox, Run DMC, DJ Craze, DJ Hype, DJ Perly, A-Trak, DJ Michelle, Cutmaster Swift, DJ Qbert, DJ Asif, Monie Love, Scratch Perverts, JFB and DJ ANGELO - and join us for the greatest competition on planet turntable!
The championship is open to all ages and your first step is to submit your 2 minute elimination video by June 30th… finalists announced July 12th…
