MyCause

Gates Teams: Our Gates Teams are the first point of contact for all festival-goers on arrival – it’s up to us to give them a warm welcome and set a positive tone for their day!

Volunteer Arrival and Departure Dates: Tue 8th August (multiple arrival dates will be available). Depart: Mon 14th August.

Shifts: No more than 3 x 8 hour shifts – one of these shifts could potentially be on Monday, meaning departure may not be until 5pm. Please take this into account when applying & making travel arrangements.

Oxfam

Festival Stewarding: Festival stewarding with Oxfam is a fun and rewarding way to come to your Boomtown this summer. We mostly volunteer in the arena around the stages, public crossings, woodlands and access points. Help the festival run smoothly as you offer great customer service to the customers and crew alike, answering questions, offering directions, checking wristbands and being the supportive, friendly face of the festival.

Shifts: You will be asked to volunteer 3 x 8 hour shifts over the course of the festival.

Shop Volunteering: When you volunteer with Oxfam Festival Shops, you will get to enter the festival site before the public to help set up shop and pack down again after everyone has left. Your day-to-day duties will vary from cash handling and talking to customers, to changing the stock depending on the weather. There is never a dull moment when volunteering at a festival shop!

Shifts: Over the festival period, you will be rostered on to one 6-hour shift a day, rotating between morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the festival and catch some incredible live acts.

Arrival times and shift patterns vary, please check with Oxfam for further details.
