Announcing the first in our series of district lineup releases, we’ve unleashed the biggest of techno and house districts AREA 404; a district where you can immerse yourself in the unlikely epicentre of the city's digital matrix set against the backdrop of some of electronic music’s most influential figures.

AREA 404 encompasses one of Boomtown’s main stages, The Nucleus. Ramping up another level and showcasing three of the biggest names The Nucleus will host live performances nightly from the boundary-smashing, ear-bending, genre-defying, composer and experimental fusion artist Squarepusher; Underworld will take to the gargantuan monolithic stage structure to celebrate their 40th year in this spiritual home of underground sounds and Orbital’s live set will be sure to set pulses racing alongside many, many more legends.

Featuring thundering bass, grime and DnB, The Grid will rumble to the beats of the 10 yrs Butterz label featuring Champion & MC Serious, DJ Q, Elijah & Skilliam, Flaca D, Joker, Jubilee, Royal T and Sir Spyro. True dubstep originator, Caspa, will be bringing a dynamic range of underground sounds to the stage with Slimzee, Truth, Crazy D and Sgt Pokes amongst others.

Don’t miss out on the deep basslines and sounds of acid house and techno at Acid Leak as well as the fusion of tough machine beats and disco at Fallout Disco.
