Following on from our announcement of the brand new district in Decemeber - with Carl Cox, Four Tet, and Amelie Lens headlining the area’s main stage Nucleus, we've now added the full line ups for the three other new stages for this area: The Grid, Fallout Disco and Acid Leak. Covering bass heavy sounds, house & disco plus hard house and acid techno respectively this is an area with all electronic tastes catered for and an exciting addition to the multi genre, multi layered festival, again ensuring that Boomtown Fair stands out from the crowd as one of the best festivals in the UK.

Introduction of the new bass and jungle focused arena, The Grid, will kick things off with underground Bristol label Gutterfunk curate a diverse day takeover featuring Dub Phizix & Strategy, Addison Groove, Dismantle, Madam X and a 1995-2019 ‘archives’ set from label head honcho DJ Die.  The massively influential underground Rinse FM are celebrating 25 years of the station with a showcase of the best in bass and grime UK sounds.  Bringing together two heavyweights of the bass scene; Redlight and Zinc go back to back for a special set. Other fresh homegrown talent such as Bushbaby ,Conducta and Rinse FM selector Emerald join godfather of garage Matt Jam Lamont, dancehall luminaries The Heatwave and South London’s Manara with her unique blend of global club cuts, house, grime and Bollywood samples. Sunday welcomes back Boomtown favourites and jungle legends Congo Natty ft Nanci & Phoebe, some of the biggest names in jungle from across the atlantic, Liondub b2b Marcus Visionary,  moody drum and bass from Bou and an exciting showcase from the Legends of Moving Shadow featuring 2 Bad Mice B2B DJ Trax, Foul Play B2B Cloud 9 B2B Nookie, Kaotic Chemistry B2B Deep Blue hosted by Mc Flux.

The introduction of two brand new post-apocalyptic ‘street venues’ include the ‘Fallout Disco’ hosted by Bristol collective Shambarber with a line-up spanning house, disco and electronic, includings; Lord Leopard, party providers Alfresco Disco, Bitch, Please and more.

On the other side of the electronic spectrum the Acid Leak will see the full on return of Old school acid techno to the streets of Boomtown with genre pioneer Chris Liberator, DJ Kaynasty and Jah Scoop on the bill alongside some of the scenes lifelong ambassadors.

The brand new area will open its streets on Thursday with a very fitting and welcome return of underground pioneers SP:23 (Spiral Tribe) Street Party bring with them the 90’s convoy takeover featuring crystal distortion, 69db,  jeff23, bad girlz, ixindamix, meltdown mickey, max volume.
