BOOMTOWN RAISES OVER £152,600 FOR CHARITY AND ANNOUNCES NEW LOCAL PARTNERSHIP

It’s a real privilege to raise both funds and awareness for charity.  Thanks to you, we were able to raise an amazing £152,624.67 for charity, with over £31,751 going to projects in the local area. That’s a record breaking amount and we really, really can’t thank you enough for your support.

In particular, a massive thank you must go to those of you who donated £2 on top of your ticket price and raised £6,266 which went directly to our main charity partner, Winchester based Winnall Rock School.  This amazing organisation works with disadvantaged children and their families to access free music tuition and band workshops to help them find new ways to express themselves, build their confidence and self esteem.

Following this success, we couldn’t wait any longer to announce our main local charity partnership for Chapter 11 with Winchester Action on Climate Change (WinACC).  It’s a partnership with a local organisation that reflects our own passion for protecting our planet and reducing the impact a festival of our size makes on the environment and something we are super excited about and hope you will be too!

They work alongside residents, businesses and policy-makers to cut the carbon footprint of the Winchester district and inspire sustainable living.  We hope that together we can really make a difference and that you will be inspired to donate again.

If you want to donate directly to WinACC, all you need to do is check the charity donation box on our ticket page here.
